Following the much-publicised WannaCry ransomware attack that has hit healthcare providers and many other organisations worldwide, this press release is to allay any operational concerns regarding subscriptions to Getz Clinical Cloud (GCC).
As part of our subscription model, all Getz Touch devices installed in hospital induction bays, theatres and recovery bays, together with each dedicated GCC hosted environment, and all associated enterprise software and solutions provided remain unaffected by this attack.
Microsoft released security fixes in March 2017 to mitigate any operational risks from this type of attack, and upon release, these were immediately tested by Getz Clinical and subsequently released without downtime or interruption to our customers.
